Paper Spot: practice with simulated funds
Paper Spot follows your configured rules using market prices and a simulated balance. It does not send trading orders to your exchange.
Use it to understand settings, start and stop controls, positions and history before considering real funds.
Select Paper Spot in the New bot form. No exchange API key is needed for Paper practice.
Real Spot: orders on your exchange
Real Spot uses your restricted exchange connection to submit your configured order instructions. Your assets remain in your own exchange account.
Availability depends on the exchange and the trading controls enabled for your workspace. A saved connection alone does not mean a bot is ready to place orders.
Review the mode badge, exchange, validation result and Start confirmation before starting.
Exchange Demo is a separate environment
An exchange Demo environment is distinct from AiNiBoTS Paper Spot. Demo refers to the environment used by an exchange connection, while Paper Spot is simulated execution inside AiNiBoTS.
Where Demo is available, read the environment badge and the required confirmation. Do not assume every connection uses Demo.
Understand Stop before you use it
Stopping ends the bot's trading session. For Real Spot, remaining assets stay on the exchange and are not automatically sold. They may no longer be managed by that bot.
Read the confirmation and review remaining positions rather than assuming Stop closes every trade.
The bot detail page shows the confirmation for the current mode.
